The studio
Bao Labs is an independent software studio, registered in Wyoming. It has no clients, no investors, and no growth targets — just a short list of apps, built carefully and kept for years. The studio answers to the people who use its products and to no one else.
How we work
Slowly, and on purpose. Features are added reluctantly and removed often. Privacy is the default, not a setting: what you tell an app stays on your device wherever the work allows it. The goal is software you can live in for a decade without it turning on you.
Why "Bao"
Bao is the panda who fronts our products — warm, a little playful, always on your side. The studio behind him is quiet and exacting. The tension is deliberate: Bao does the talking so the software can stay calm.
